Your thought prompts, Shawn:

  1. You talk about vulnerability in leadership, but have you ever shared something personal in a coaching session or talk that you immediately regretted? What did that teach you about the line between authentic and oversharing?
  2. What belief about business or leadership did 2025 completely destroy for you? Something you used to preach confidently that you now see differently?
  3. You preach about balance and wellness, but you're also clearly driven and ambitious. What's the last thing you sacrificed for your business that you told yourself you wouldn't? And did you course-correct?
  4. Have you given any talks or spoken on any podcasts recently that you’d like to talk about? Or have any coming up that you are excited about?
  5. You wrote that impact matters most when you're 90. But if you're honest—do you sometimes catch yourself measuring success by revenue, followers, or recognition instead? How do you pull yourself back?
  6. Forget the optimistic forecast—what scares you most about where business is heading in 2026? Not the polished answer, but the thing that makes you genuinely concerned for the entrepreneurs you coach?
  7. You've had clients disagree with your advice and later realize you were right. But when was the last time a client proved you completely wrong? What did they see that you missed?
  8. There's a lot of speaking advice out there - 'picture your audience naked,' 'memorize your talk word-for-word,' 'never break the fourth wall.' What's one piece of common speaking advice that you disagree with, and what do you do instead?
